- Barnes IM-1848 immersed drum and fabric filtration system, complete with coolant pump, valves, hoses, conveyor and sludge hopper (for poly and rubber)
- 1 machine-mounted FMT Schonthaler two wheel roll caliper system consisting of:
- One (1) lot of measuring equipment to measure various geometrical features of rolls reground at the paper mill. The measuring device is designed for, and mounts on an existing Farrel two-wheel roll grinder. The special design features two measuring gauges in brackets/levers mounted on the wheel guards of the roll grinder. The gauges traverse the length of the roll body on the carriage thus being able to measure and record the geometrical characteristics of the roll over its entire length, and at any fixed location but with the roll rotating.
- The measuring device records, displays and provides a hard copy of the measurement in the form of a graph, representing continuous measurement over the length or circumference of the roll. The graph also displays the nominal or base measurement parameter (a zero-line, cosine crown, or compound crown target) and tolerances. The device provides reports on the following measurement modes:
- Two gauge straight profile measurement
- Two gauge crown measurement
- One gauge concentricity measurement at 3 and 9 o'clock positions
- Two gauge roundness measurement
- Special measurements such as sag, roll alignment, machine ways, and T.I.R. in other positions, are possible using the standard modes, too. Resolution of the measuring system is settable to .0005", .0001", .00002", 0,01 mm, 0,001 mm or 0,0005 mm.
The recording system is PC based with report display and hard copy capabilities. The graph is displayed during measuring (profile and crown) or immediately after (T.I.R. and roundness) a measuring pass. The reports also include entered or previously saved roll data. There is space in the software program for saving the reports on a hard disk, up to 1000 roll numbers and 1000 reports on each roll. Cabling is carried via the cabletrack of the roll grinder.
- The measuring and recording system is RollTrack® model 2G1E, consisting of:
- Two mounting brackets/levers for the Farrel two wheel roll grinder mounted on wheel guards
- Two photo electronic gauge heads and preamplifiers
- Two each barrel and ball type measuring contacts
- One distance encoder w/bracket and wheel mounted on carriage
- Three signal cables from gage heads to PC
- Software license to use RollTrack® software at one measuring
location on one PC system
- One PC interface board installed in the GE/Fanuc PC
- One color printer
- Set of manuals

CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE AT ABBOTT
Demonstrate machine for customer, grind customer supplied roll, to print tolerance. Abbott reserves the right of choice of grinding method, feeds, speeds, belt, and coolant. Tolerance is dependent on the condition of the roll necks. Roll necks may be reground for testing purposes if needed.
PREPARATION FOR SHIPPING
Dismantle machine as needed for shipment, wrap all electrical wiring, drain all lube systems, plug all fittings, cap all lines, cosmoline all bright exposed surfaces. Abbott personnel will load machine onto customer supplied trucks and supervise tarping. In case of overseas shipment, pack machine into open top containers and block sufficiently.
DOCUMENTATION
- One full set of electrical schematics, also on AutoCAD disc
- One full set of lubrication schematics, also on AutoCAD disc
- One operator and spare parts manual
